Memory Evaluation and Therapy Centers provide memory assessment for persons who may very well have normal memory capacity, but are concerned, over-tasked, distracted. We can provide the reassurance you need. Your concerns are not something we take lightly!
For individuals suffering from memory loss, we can diagnose where your memory is having problems, why, and what can be done about it. We have services and programs for individuals who wish to prevent memory loss. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with memory impairment, the Center provides treatment that will stabilize the decline of memory functioning and even reverse its potentially devastating consequences. If you are concerned that you may be experiencing memory loss or simply want a memory “check-up”, our cognitive and neuro-psychological testing will provide you with answers.
What we are not: We do not sell memory training exercises for you to use on your computer. We do not have "five simple tips" for you to work on while driving home. We do not have on-line games to strengthen your memory. We are not the cheap, simple way out.
What we are: We do a thorough, professional memory evaluation of your cognitive function. We look at your total health, including underlying wellness and disease states (diabetes, hypertension, viral infections, etc.), and work with your primary care provider to optimize your mind's memory capacity. We evaluate your medications to find potential negative impacts on your cogntive processes. We perform neuroimaging (CT/ MRI of your head) to look for structural / functional problems you may not be aware of.
